Stretton Watermill offers something for every visitor. The
site consists of the working mill, an old 19th century stable which
houses an exhibition
and pleasant grounds with a picnic area.
After learning about the history of the mill in our attractive exhibition,
one of our millers will take you on a fascinating tour around the mill.
See the ancient wooden machinery in action, listen to stories, have
a go at milling grain, work miniature models, wander round the displays
or just relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside setting at one of Cheshire’s
best kept secrets.

the brown signs.
The mill’s postcode is SY14 7JA. It is located on Mill Lane, but
shows as an un-named road on some Sat Nav systems.
Buses: the mill is in a very rural area and bus links are very limited.
